Rules & Tournament Mechanics

AustroClash Tournament Rulebook

The codified governance, status hierarchy, scoring mathematics, and voting mechanics of the AustroClash platform.

1. The One Active Peak Status Principle

A user cannot display multiple earned statuses simultaneously. Every competitor holds exactly one active peak status. When a user wins an official Clash and receives Champion or King, the previous active status is replaced.

Historical achievements are permanently preserved: King victories remain indefinitely in your historical record and on the Kingboard even if your active status later changes.

2. Status Indicators & Badges

3. Voting Quotas & Governance

Standard unverified accounts are restricted to 10 official Clash votes per month to prevent sybil manipulation and automated bot brigades.

Holders of King, Champion, Red Tick, or Admin status enjoy unlimited monthly voting. Competitors are strictly prohibited from casting votes on their own matches.

4. Squad Syndicate Scoring Formula

Squads allow up to 10 debaters to enter collective competitions. Points are computed using the verified weighted formula:

Squad Score = (Leader Score × 1.0) + ∑ (Member Scores × 0.10)

Squad rosters lock automatically once an official Clash begins and cannot be modified until the battle concludes.
